Support for Self-Employment (STA) (Soutien au travail autonome)
The Support for Self-Employment measure (STA) aims to provide participants who hope to create or acquire a business in the MRC L’Érable with technical support and financial assistance. The weekly allowance paid during the start-up period is equal to the minimum wage in effect. Technical support is adapted to each participant, and may include guidance on topics such as business plan development and management (accounting, marketing, financing, etc.).
